Our client is a privately held, well funded, profitable high-growth company (>30%/year) in the infrastructure market. The opportunity is to be part of an exciting and rapidly growing product development group that is delivering products that feeds the growth of the company. This is a challenging full-time position based in San Francisco that provides excellent technical and career opportunities for a talented and enthusiastic engineer. Some of your work responsibilities will include: o. Designing and developing Java Web Applications with a Rich Client UI. o. Design and estimate solutions for new features or complex issues o. Work with other team members (analyst, developers, PM) and customers to understand User Requirements o. Unit testing work to ensure quality o. Participating in (conducting & getting feedback) peer reviews of code o. Bug fixing / enhancements during system testing and user acceptance testing o. Report progress of development project weekly to development manager (more often for critical issues) You should be a senior-level software developer/lead with a deep knowledge of and experience with Java programming and with the ability to innovate, prototype and develop Web applications. You must be an experienced and creative software developer with a minimum of 7 years direct coding experience, with at least 5 years experience using Java, and familiarity with JSF. Requirements: o. Passion for Web/UI design, development and technology (Required) o. 5+ years experience coding Java Web/UI (JSP, JSF, AJAX) (Required) o. Deep knowledge of core Java and Java Patterns (design & understanding workflow) (Required) o. Strong knowledge of HTML, XML, and XSLT (Required) o. Experience with TDD (Test-Driven Development), specially JUnit (Required) o. Familiarity with DbUnit and Selenium is plus. o. Degree in applicable field (graduate degree desired) Notes: o.
