Focus of this role:
This individual will prospect, build and optimize accounts within a structured territory. The focus will be to develop, increase, and grow accounts, resulting in additional revenue, gross profit and market share.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Utilize a strategic solutions sales approach to promote/sell products and value-added services
Discover, identify and approach high potential prospects within territory
Support and grow existing accounts within territory
Prospecting and building a pipeline of potential accounts
Maintaining long term relationships with prospects and customers
Effectively communicate product, price and availability changes to customers
Build customer/vendor relationships and partnerships through joint planning and sales calls
Forecasting;
Maintain accurate data of all account activity in CRM
Comprehensive knowledge of the potential of each account
Create and develop yearly objectives for each key account
Strategize and effectively communicate with internal support resources; ensuring service and sales goals are met
Monitor and ensure quality service to customers;
Investigate, evaluate and resolve all customer complaints promptly
Update management on status of accounts and any support needed to accomplish goals
Submit and monitor orders utilizing CRM or inside sales force
Provide activity and sales reports to management using data maintained in CRM.
Gather and keep up to date on industry, competition and market trends; maintain a competitive edge

Requirements and Qualifications:
3 years minimum successful selling experience in a similar/related environment
Self-starter; ability to work well independently as well as excel in a team environment
Excellent and effective communication skills (verbal and written)
Personable, professional with a strong dedication to integrity and honesty
General computer knowledge/ CRM or Windows-based programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
Competitive; thrives on achieving goals and solving problems
