Position: Financial Analyst, Capital Planning Company: Insurance Organization Location: Delaware Job ID: 18337
RESPONSIBILITIES
- This position will assume full ownership of all routine capital reporting, management, and Board presentations. - This role will create and a run a schedule of regular updates. - The analyst will also provide technical support to all analytical tasks. - Create and maintain the standard monthly and weekly reporting package for the capital team including: - Statutory capital positions and roll forward by quarter for short and long term forecast - Sensitivities. - Risk. - GAAP roll forward and ROE for short and long-term forecasts. - Narrative. - Movement of capital funds from HQ and intraregional. - Provide all presentational materials for Capital and financial planning and other management reporting; rating agencies; potential investor relations. - Maintain ongoing liaison with Financial Planning and Analysis team to incorporate P&L information in the capital analysis and reports. - Create and maintain routine assets under management reports and analysis, by region. - Support all analytical tasks in the department as needed and as they emerge.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field. - 2-3 years in life company accounting, corporate finance or intensive insurance products. - Strong educational credentials in advanced finance. - CFA, FSA or similar qualification a plus, but can be supplemented with demonstrated understanding of financial statement analysis, corporate finance, and investment concepts.
