Lead GUI Test Automation QA Engineer in Santa Clara, CA
Join one of the leaders in the data mapping industry.
We are currently looking for technically focused, talented, quality conscious QA engineers who are passionate about their work and can work well with a team.
Responsibilities:
Own GUI test automation planning and implementation. Design, develop and maintain GUI test automation framework based on requirements. Develop, evangelize and enforce GUI test development guidelines. Build and maintain hardware and software infrastructure for automated GUI test suite execution and reporting. Work directly with Development and GUI test automation tool vendors on resolving automation issues.
You must fit these requirements,
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Great attention to detail.
· Demonstrated commitment to attaining project milestones.
· Five or more years of successfully automating GUI tests for multi-tiered products with enterprise software companies on Windows and Linux/Unix OS.
· Proven track record in building low maintenance GUI test frameworks from scratch.
· Expert level knowledge of Mercury’s (now HP) QuickTest Pro (QTP).
· Fluency in object-oriented programming concepts.
· Familiarity with TOAD.
· Experience testing or developing Business Intelligence (BI), Enterprise Application Integration (EAI), ETL or RDBMS systems is highly desirable
· BS in CS, EE, Math or Physics
· Authorized to work in the US (no visa transfer possible, no H-1B sponsorship)
