Location: DES MOINES, IOWA Salary Range / Compensation: DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE Benefits: Yes Relocation expenses Available!! # of Positions Available: 1 Our Company in Johnston, Iowa is looking for a National Claims Manager or Field Service Manager for insurance products offered by our Company's Risk Protection (JDRP) who will manage all crop insurance loss adjustment activities including recruiting and training. In addition you will: • Monitor and oversee the coordination of the workload of all field staff to assure that John Deere customer service objectives are met. • Oversee and direct the Catastrophic Claims team to address service needs in heavily damaged areas. • Audit all claims with an indemnity greater than the Regional Manager's authority. • Oversee the development of loss adjustment procedures • Develop, track, and meet the capital and expense budget for a project, service and/or department. • 7- 10 YEARS EXPERIENCE • Bachelors Degree: in Business, Management, Accounting, Finance or an Agricultural Sciences discipline. Will consider someone who meets most but not all requirements We need a strong communicator with four plus years experience in a specialized area of insurance such as crop, casualty, property, etc. In addition we require: -Knowledge of the basics of insurance statutes and regulations plus risk management. -Minimum of 1-3 years experience in supervising technical, professional, and administrative employees. -Minimum of 8-10 years experience in claims management and field loss adjustment. -National crop insurance experience a must.
