Allentown, PA. 12 Months:

Wireless Systems Verification Engineer will be responsible for creating and developing automation SW for the wireless verification team as part of the System Level Design and Test organization.

Job Responsibilities

· Development of automation tools to support the integration, system and regression efforts for internal and customer platforms

· Creation and follow up of trouble tickets during verification process.

· Creation/modification of test scripts to perform verification tests.

· Working in lab environment with system, software and verification cross functional team

Required

· Experience in program or scripting languages

(Java, VB, Unix Shell Scripts, BASH, C, C++)

· Hands on experience with wireless communication test sets (R&S CMU200, Agilent 8960) spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, signal generators, audio analyzers/generators, oscilloscopes, power supplies/meters, etc.

· Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

· Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.

· Team player, independent, self-starter

· Familiarity with Microsoft Office and spreadsheet applications.

· Bachelor’s degree in engineering or coursework toward same

Desired

· Working knowledge of wireless technologies (e.g. GSM, CDMA, WBCDMA, HSUPA/HSDPA, UMTS, LTE.

· Audio analog/digital hardware verification

· Instrumentation Programming experience: Agilent VEE and/or LabVIEW, Visual Basic, Java

· Field test automation for wireless devices
