C++ Trading Systems Developer
Stamford CT hedge fund is one of the largest hedge funds.
(Shuttle bus service from the Stamford train station, 20% of staff comes in by train from NY). This is a 4 person team being built from scratch. This team will be redeveloping equity, options and futures trading system from scratch. This will include heavy development work with lots of business user interaction.
5+ year of Unix/Linux , C++ software development
Any Java would be helpful but not necessary.
Strong GUI experience
Good middleware development experience
Understanding of market data platforms and protocols would be helpful
Does not have to have a trading applications background but must have some type of either equities, futures or options application work.
Good scripting skills (perl, bash, etc.)
Unix/Linux with Equity, futures or options knowledge.
