ACTIVITIES
§ Design, develop, and deliver projects using object oriented C++ programming within a Tandem server environment.
§ Develop/update C HyperCom/Fujitsu Electronic Cash Register application terminal code.
§ Responsible for building a high quality solution, delivered on or ahead of schedule.
§ Responsible for performing complete unit and integration testing to ensure the solution meets or exceeds the requirements with a zero defect mindset.
§ Responsible for the development of a comprehensive test script, which would be used during continuous integration testing
Within the first 6 months:
§ Become fully productive using the development tools within environment.
§ Understand current application solutions and current/future project initiatives.
§ Develop a working knowledge of the applications.
§ Integrate into the project team taking responsibility for project deliverables.
§ Exhibit a high level of motivation and commitment.
§ Become fully engaged in meeting project objectives, with a commitment to high standards.
SELECTION CRITERIA
§ B.S. in Computer Science or MIS or equivalent experience.
§ Minimum 5 years C or C++ experience.
§ Prior experience in HyperCom ICE 5000 series terminal coding required.
§ Proven skills using object oriented application development.
§ Hewlett Packard NonStop experience a plus
§ Highly motivated and fully engaged with a commitment to high standards.
